WeatherLens Expands With Weather Intelligence for Travel, Agriculture, Logistics and Insurance

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 29, 2026) Foxxception LLC today introduced industry solutions for WeatherLens, its machine-learning weather API, for teams whose decisions depend on getting the weather right.

Solutions by industry

• Travel and outdoor: confidence-scored forecasts with climate baselines for travel planners, hikers, campers and event organizers.
• Agriculture: climate-aware forecasts for planting windows, irrigation, frost alerts and harvest timing.
• Logistics: route-by-route forecasts before dispatch, with uncertainty flagged segment by segment.
• Insurance: forecasts and climate history for weather-exposed risk.

Sharper accuracy scoring

This spring WeatherLens also introduced Accuracy v2, which scores rain forecasts by how well their probabilities match what happened and credits forecasts that are close rather than counting them simply right or wrong. Its correction models were retrained on a five-year history of forecasts and outcomes across more than 500 locations worldwide, and they continue to retrain every week.

"A farmer, a dispatcher and a travel app ask different questions of the same forecast," said Jeremy Foxx, founder of Foxxception. "These solutions show each of them how WeatherLens answers theirs."
